	Main Vocabulary List: The selected item is expanded for ease of viewing. Items can be selected and reviewed with a single click.
	Test Showing Question: The program tests you in two modes: English to Chinese and Chinese to English. The program tracks your scores in each of these two areas separately, managing your progress and presenting the items at increasing intervals as your success with each item increases. When thoroughly learned in both directions items are transferred to a series of archive files. After a longer time period has elapsed (by default four months) the program presents you the item again. If you are not happy that it has lodged in your long term memory you can add it back to your main list.
	Test Showing Answer: The program displays the correct answer plus a listing of all existing instances of each character it contains. This helps to build connections between your existing knowledge and the new knowledge you are acquiring. Items can always be added back to your main list with a single click.
	Adding a new Item: When adding an item for the first time you can suppy just the English or Pinyin, or these two plus the Chinese character (via the Windows IME). In this way the program is suitable for complete beginners who have not yet started to learn characters. As you enter characters you are again presented with a cross referencing of all previous instances within the database, allowing you to see at a glance where the new character fits into your growing knowledge matrix.
